Jessica Simpson is set to perform in honour of America's military members after U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama personally invited the singer to take to the stage at a special event.
The blonde beauty is thrilled to have received the request to perform at a baseball game in Denver, Colorado on Wednesday (13Apr11) as part of President Barack Obama's wife's initiative to recognise American service members.
Simpson tells Usmagazine.com, "(The First Lady) asked me to sing for the troops. That's a huge honour for me. Just to be there and show my support and say thank you."
