Musik country

is a mixture of elements of American music that originated in the United States and the Southern Appalachians. The music is rooted in North American folk songs, Celtic music, gospel music, and developed since the 1920s.  The term country music began to be used around the 1940s to replace the term hillbilly music is memorable understatement. In the 1970s, the term country music has become a popular term. Another term for this music genre is country and western, but is increasingly rarely used except in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
