Scouting For Girls have confirmed special guests DELAYS for their Arena shows starting this Weekend, their biggest headline shows to date.
2010 saw Scouting For Girls' second album "Everybody Wants To Be On TV" enter the UK charts at No 2, preceded by their No.1 single "This Ain't A Love Song". They have maintained their place as one of Britain's most successful bands receiving acclaim for their perfectly formed pop anthems, and achieving international acknowledgement. Most recently Sony Electronics U.S have selected Scouting For Girls' 'New Day' for their 30 million dollar TV campaign for the Sony Internet TV. They won Best British Band at the coveted O2 Silver Clef Awards received the College Radio Award at the ASCAP Awards and were nominated for 'Best British Single' at this year's Brit Awards.
Roy Stride said, "We've headlined both Wembley Arena and MEN Arena before but having our own shows at these venues is very exciting and will be very special nights. The new Birmingham O2 Academy is one of our favourite smaller venues. We toured there earlier in the year and the atmosphere was electric. We can't wait to perform our biggest and best shows to date."
